Memorial Service in Hamorthy
The Bournemouth Echo (Wednesday 12th October, page 3) reports of a Thanksgiving Memorial Service to be held at St Michaels Church, Blandford Road, Hamworthy on Sunday 30th October at 4pm
Designed with the recently bereaved in mind, the service will have a theme of dragonflies (no doubt as a metaphor for needing to die (as larvae) to be born again in a better world) and will be followed by refreshments in the church lounge
Outlook believes these local community events often prove beneficial, even for those who do not have a strong religious faith; the camaraderie and friendship with others are more important
