The sun shines for the pic-nic
Harbour View hosted its first music and pic-nic evening on Friday and what a beautiful evening it was too. Many arrived early to pitch their pic-nic tables and were able to enjoy an hour or so of unbroken sunshine.
The Quay Strings played well known classics until 8.15pm by which time the Sun had gone down, a chill had set in and the tea and coffee had become increasingly popular.
Rachel commented 'It was lovely to see so many of the Harbour View community in a more social environment than we are used to; this is certainly something we will look to do again next year, perhaps a little earlier in the Summer when the evenings are warmer.'
