Which? Report
It must be the season for reporting on the cost of funerals. The February edition of Which? Magazine and their web site: http://www.which.co.uk/news/2012/01/10-things-you-should-know-about--funerals-277448/ reports ‘poor advice, a lack of clear pricing and even some dodgy selling’. Fortunately for us, independent funeral directors (those not owned by Co-op, Dignity PLC or the like) are shown in a very good light being the least expensive in almost every area of the country, including ‘South West – Bournemouth’. The Co-op and Dignity PLC attracted particular criticism for high charges and bad advice in respect of their arrangements.
